The African Festival is an annual event organized by the A.C.A. of Greater Lowell. The purpose is to showcase the rich African culture and enrich the lives of the citizens in the area and foster the strength of our community through her diversity.
In its thirteenth year, Lowell’s African Festival is the oldest festival of African music and culture in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and arguably the largest.
