The Lowell Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing to hear all interested persons relative to an ordinance to amend \u201cThe Code of Ordinances City of Lowell, Massachusetts,\u201d with respect to Chapter
290, Zoning, by amending Article 13: \u201cTable …of Accessory Uses\u201d by changing \u201cFamily Day Care, Small\u201d (Sec. 13j) within the DMU zoning district from \u201cN\u201d to \u201cY\u201d and \u201cFamily Day Care, Large\u201d (Sec. 13k) within the DMU zoning district from \u201cN\u201d to \u201cSP\u201d, adding\/ clarifying definitions of \u201cFamily Day Care (Small and Large)\u201d and \u201cChild Care Facility\u201d, and adding language to Sec. 4.3.3, \u201cHome Occupation \u2013 As of Right\u201d and Sec. 4.3.4 \u201cHome Occupation \u2013 By Special Permit\u201d. <\/p>\n
The city council has scheduled a public hearing for 7 PM on August 28th.<\/p>\n
