Someone sent a comment: Can anyone tell me where else we can park during snow emergencies for people that live near downtown that is not 5 miles away from the neighborhood?

Answer: You can park in any of the city garages. However the only free parking is at the Ayotte garage next to Tsongas arena.

Anton’s Cleaners The 16th Annual Coats for Kids drive will accept coats October 11, 2010 – January 8, 2011
The mission of Coats for Kids is simple – anyone in need of a coat will have one. Anton’s Cleaners, a clothing care company with 43 store locations in Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire, will begin accepting gently used, warm kid, adult and baby sized winter coats for the 2010/2011 drive beginning October 11, 2010.

Since the program began in 1994, Anton’s has collected, cleaned free of charge and distributed over 620,000 gently worn winter coats to men, women and children who would otherwise be without one. The program receives invaluable support from collection, promotional, supporting and distribution partners as well as individuals.

One of my refugee students from Iraq had his bike stolen; his only transportation. If anyone has a men’s bicycle to donate pleae let me know.
